Our story is simple. Our family business was founded in 1980 and we’ve been “selling fire” in the form of hearth and grills ever since. In the early days, steel fabrication was our game. We sold gun nails, staples, and framing hardware to contractors. Don Richardson, our owner, revolutionized the use of nail guns by initiating a standardized angle of 22 degrees for the nail strip, lowering the cost of gun nails to the framer. Ever an entrepreneur, Don recognized the natural progression of house framing and fireplace installation. His close ties with top builders helped further evolve Arizona Fasteners into Arizona Fireplaces.
Arizona Fireplaces remains a family retailer that sells hearth products to the entire southwest (including AZ, NM, NV, CA, UT, TX, and OK) as well as fulfills online orders for the largest retailers in the industry.
Over the years, we have honed our skills. We continue to grow our team by hiring seasoned professionals who allow us to successfully do what we’re passionate about. Now, we have extended our capabilities and have introduced the fabrication of a variety of products for hearth and home through AF Manufacturing.
